India is on the threhold of rapid economic and social changes. The objective of thepaper to analyze the socio- economic profile of the policyholders in the study, to explore the order of preferences on various investment forms, to analyse the attitude of the insured towards the service rendered and determine the level of satisfaction obtaind by an insured.
