This trend poses a question on the issue of sustainable outreach, which is important since sustainability indicate the premancey of theprogram. Although repayment rate for the major MFIs are greater than 90%, it may not be an indicator of institutional sustainability. In this paper an examination of secondry data on the outreach and sustainability of microfinance institutions model of microfinance in Assam have been carried by taking a MFI reaches a large number of members, analysis indicates that MFI is still financially not self sufficiant which a number of financial indicators reflect. | ||
