Fluctuations in economic activities have increased with the spread of the globalization. Higher amount of capital flows between industrial and developing countries due to financial globalization since 1980s has increased growth rates in some developing countries but it has caused periodic collapse in growth rates and significant financial crisis during the same period in a number of countries.
