Education has become an important factor dettermining the progress of individual human beings and human socity. Education provides knowledge and develope the skills and abilities to perform various socio economic tasks. Learning is an important part of education. Learning orientation (LO) and performance orientation (PO) have an impact on acquiring knowledge and its subsequent application for performing tasks. This research is based on a structure survey questionnaire personally administered to 220 graduate engineering students in India.
