The study is a longitudinal aggregate analysis of the successful public offerings for the 99 month period between January 1999 and March 2007. During this period, 192 public equity offerings were made in the Indian Capital Markets and the total sum raised from the public form these issues was Rs. 867 billion. The study presents some very interesting findings.
