Special Economics Zone (SEZ) is a geogaphical region that are more leberal than a country's typical economic laws. As per chapter 9, para 30 of Exim policy 200 Specially delineated duty-free enclave and shall be deemed to be foregin territory for the purpose of trade operations and duties and tariffs.
