Thesis was submitted to berhampur University, Orissa on Financing Foregin Trade. When imports are financed by foregin aid, the implementation of a country's development plans become uncertain as the quantum, quality and timing of such an aid depend on the relations between two countries. More offen than not foregin aid is used as a tool to exhort pressure on the foregin policies as well as internal economic and political policies of recipient countries. Foriegn aids in the form of importsin to a recipient country may also be charged at higher prices.
